Geoffrey worked as a general practitioner and sports medicine practitioner prior to moving into occupational medicine.
He was awarded Fellowship of the Australasian College of Occupational Medicine (now AFOM) in 1986 and currently provides a consultancy in occupational medicine to a number of companies and organisations.
He is registered to practice as a specialist occupational physician in four states and is a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner accredited with CASA and Hong Kong CAD.
